This is one of those "Don't Knock It 'Til You've Tried It" recipes. Sweet and tangy and a great way to jazz up a quesadilla. Yum!!!
Serves 4 as listed, Cost per serving $.98
8 Benita Flour Tortillas
1 block Happy Farms or Fit and Active Cream Cheese
1 c. Mango Pineapple Salsa + more for garnish if desired
Oil for pan (your choice)
Friendly Farms Sour Cream or Guacamole for garnish (opt.)
1. Lightly oil pan and heat on medium heat.
2. Spread an even layer of cream cheese on two tortillas. Spoon about 1/4 c. of salsa on one tortilla and top with the other.
3. Cook over medium heat until tortilla is lightly browned and cheese is warmed through. Flip and brown the other side.
4. Repeat for remaining tortillas. Serve with more salsa and sour cream or guacamole.
*I've used additional shredded cheese and avocado slices as well. All delicious!
